VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from December 14 - 21, 2018.

Goochland County Earns Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Certification

Goochland County Earns Virginia Values Veterans Certification

On Tuesday, December 4, 2018, County Administrator John Budesky announced that Goochland County had earned the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Veterans Services.

In receiving this certification, Goochland County joins over 700 corporate and government partners who are V3 certified.

Lifetime Dog Licensing Begins November 1 in Goochland County

Goochland County - Lifetime Dog Licenses - November 2018

Earlier this year, the Goochland County Board of Supervisors voted to begin issuing Lifetime Dog Licenses for individual dogs, beginning with the 2019 tags. These tags will be available beginning on November 1.

The due date for
obtaining a new dog license is January 31.

The new tags will be sold through the Treasurer’s Office as usual.  Current pet owners who have purchased licenses should have received a bill from the Treasurer in late Octobe...
