Individuals are invited to share comments on transportation projects that are being considered for the FY2019-2024 Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP). The Commonwealth Transportation Board will take the comments into consideration as it develops the FY2019-2024 SYIP. The program allocates public funds to highway, road, bridge, rail, bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation projects. All federally eligible projects in the SYIP will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to document how Virginia will obligate its federal funds. The regional public hearing for the Richmond District will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Colonial Heights. Comments will be accepted at the meeting and may also be submitted via mail, email or online until May 30, 2018.
