In 2015, Goochland County Sheriff’s deputies began wearing body worn cameras while performing their duties. The County is now providing those same body worn cameras to its Animal Protection Officers. State law requires that the public be notified of Animal Protection’s proposed adoption of a Body Worn Camera Policy before it is implemented. You can see the proposed policy at the following link. If you wish to comment on the proposed policy, you may do so through August 27, 2023, by sending your comment to email@example.com.
