[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of June 9-16 2017

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction that could cause delays from June 9-16 2017.

Below are the projects within Goochland County, the full list is available via the link below.


I-64 East - Guardrail Repairs - June 11

The left lane will be closed I-64 east between mile markers 160 and 164 from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. June 11 for guardrail repairs.


Maidens Rd. (Rt. 522) - Lane Restriping - June 13

Alternating lanes will be closed on Maidens Rd. (Rt. 522) between River Road West (Rt. 6) and Powhatan County on June 13 for road and bridge lane restriping.  A flagging operation will be in place.


State Farm Rd. (Rt. 310) - Bridge Inspection - June 16

The right lane will be closed on State Farm Rd. (Rt. 310) at Beaver Dam Creek from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on June 16 for a bridge inspection.


One project within Powhatan County may impact individuals traveling to and from Goochland County on Maidens Rd. (Rt. 522), it is listed below.

Maidens Rd. (Rt. 522) - Paving - June 11 - 15

There will be alternating lanes closed on Maidens Rd. (Rt. 522) between Old River Trl. and Huguenot Trl. (Rt. 711) from 6:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. June 11 - 15 for paving.
