[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of March 2 - 9

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from March 2 - 9, 2018.


Four projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Rt. 288 south between Broad St. and Tuckahoe Creek Pkwy. - Bridge Inspection - March 6
The right lane will be closed on Rt. 288 south between Broad St. and Tuckahoe Creek Pkwy. from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on March 6 for bridge inspection.


Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Broad St. and Goins Rd. - Utility Work - March 5 - 9
There will be alternating lanes closed on Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Broad St. and Goins Rd. from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 59 for utility work.


Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east at Oilville Rd. - Pavement marking - March 7
The left lane will be closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) east at Oilville Rd. from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on March 7 for pavement marking.


Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. - Utility Work - March 5 - 9 
There will be alternating lanes closed on Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 5-9 for utility work.
