At its February 22, 2022 Special Meeting about the Public Comment on the Proposed Redistricting Map, the Goochland County Board of Supervisors received a presentation about three requests from residents for revisions to the proposed map:
- Revise the District 4 and District 5 boundary
- Create a 3rd precinct in Election District 4
- Revise the District 1 and District 2 boundary.
Staff evaluated the three requested revisions and presented that information at the meeting. The Board did not vote in favor of making any of the proposed changes to the County’s Proposed Redistricting Map that was made public on December 17, 2021; it did vote to set a public hearing to consider adopting the Proposed Redistricting Map and ordinance on March 15, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Meeting Room.
