Goochland Day kicks off with a parade along River Road West (Route 6) from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m. Please be aware River Road West (Route 6) will be temporarily closed from Parrish Ford to the stoplight at Sandy Hook Road from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 a.m. for the parade. Please follow the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office for any additional road closures, detours, or delays that may occur.
Goochland Day continues with a festival at the Goochland Sports Complex from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be food, games, live music, and more. The Chickahominy Health District will be at Goochland Day holding a FREE COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All three vaccines (Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) will be available, including second booster doses for those who qualify! Walk-ups are welcome, no appointment necessary. Stop by and get vaccinated today!
