Goochland County is sharing the next steps in the process for the Proposed Small Area Plans. At the end of May, the Goochland County Planning Commission held Special Meetings and Public Hearings on the Proposed Small Area Plans for Courthouse Village and Centerville.
The Planning Commission recommended approval of the Courthouse Village Small Area Plan as a proposed amendment to the Goochland County 2035 Comprehensive Plan. The Goochland County Board of Supervisors will hold a Special Meeting and Public Hearing on the Courthouse Village Small Area Plan on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the County Administration Building, Board Meeting Room Suite 250 located at 1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland, VA 23063.

The Planning Commission recommended deferral of the Centerville Small Area Plan. At their July 6, 2023, work session the Commission will announce the next steps in the process, including the public hearing date. Prior to that meeting, the Goochland County Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission will hold a Joint Work Session on the Centerville Small Area Plan on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the County Administration Building, Conference Room 270 located at 1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland, VA 23063.
