Board of Supervisors and School Board Members Joint Work Session

The Board of Supervisors and School Board will hold a Joint Work Session on Monday, December 16, 2024, starting 4:30 PM. The Work Session will be held in Room 270 at the Goochland County Administration Building. Details

Goochland Community Action Agency Conducting Needs Assessment

The Goochland County Community Action Program (GCAP) is currently conducting a Needs Assessment to better understand how to support people in the community. This Needs Assessment, conducted every three years, plays a crucial role in guiding GCAP's efforts. Participants who complete the survey will be entered to win one of two $100 Food Lion gift cards. Firefly to Hold Virtual Town Hall for Residents in the RISE Three Square service area

VDOT Public Hearing:
Hockett Road Re-alignment

The meeting will be held in an open forum style from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 14th at Dover Baptist Church. Find out about the proposed project to construct a new 2-lane road with raised concrete median, left turn lane, and curb/gutter with sidewalk. The proposed connector roadway will link Hockett Road to Ashland Road at its intersection with Broad Street. A roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of Hockett Road and Holly Lane.
