Spring Joint Town Hall Meetings

The Goochland County Board of Supervisors and School Board will hold their last Spring Town Hall Meeting on Monday, March 31st at the Goochland County Administration Building starting at 6:00 PM.

Hockett Road Culvert Pipe Replacement Project Scheduled to Begin March 31st

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Hockett Road (Route 623) between Hamlet Road and Tuckahoe Creek Parkway for a pipe replacement project in Goochland. Work will take place from 8 a.m. on Monday, March 31 through 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1. Read more.

Goochland County Economic Development Authority Grants Three Small Business Expansion Incentives

On February 25th, 2025, the Goochland County Economic Development Authority approved three small business expansion incentives for local businesses investing in their growth within Goochland County. The recipients, Dover Hall Experiences, Strickland Manufacturing, and R-Tec Services, are each undertaking significant expansion projects to enhance their operations, increase production, and broaden services.
