Residents Encouraged to Beat the Heat

With hot and humid weather expected this summer, the county is providing safety tips and resources to help residents beat the heat. If you need to escape the extreme heat, community members can visit the cooling location at the Goochland Sports Complex. Read more.

County Offices & Convenience Centers Closed for Independence Day

County Offices and Convenience Centers will be Closed on Friday, July 4th

Goochland County Offices, Parks & Recreation facilities, and Convenience Centers will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July Independence Day holiday. There will be no summer camp or programming on Friday, July 4th.
