    USTA?s Junior Team Tennis brings kids together to learn and play the game of tennis as a team. The Goochland County Junior Team Tennis is designedfor kids to compete in tennis matches against other area teams. The teams play singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches. Junior Team Tennis promotes skill development, social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. You must register by March 6th.

    This 8-week class helps young dancers with balance and coordination. We will work on ballet basics and play fun dance games! Dancers should plan to wear a leotard, dance skirt, tights, and ballet shoes.

  5. Intermediate Ballet and Jazz

    In this 8-week session, dancers will learn technique and fun choreography. We will work on skills like leaps, turns, and splits while having fun and being active. Dancers should plan to wear leotard and tights, dance skirt or shorts, and ballet or jazz shoes.

    Students will learn techniques including kicking, punching, blocking, sparring and partner work. Emphasis is on philosophy and discipline of the martial arts to increase students self-confidence and physical condition. This challenging program is for ages 7 through adults and will help participants lead a healthier life. ($25 one time Karate association fee taken at door for first time students.) There will be no class on October 14th, November 11th, and November 28th.

  10. Teen Horseback Riding Program

    Riding lesson weekly after school. Students will learn to groom, tack, and ride. Jumping lessons available for more advanced students. Lessons are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders.Transportation available for students at Goochland Middle and High School. Students must be picked up from Swift Creek School of Equitation.
