On Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Goochland County Sheriff’s Office and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse & theft during the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Fall Festival Food Vendors 2023

1. The Contest is open to anyone wishing to bake a Fall theme pie. Pies that can be entered are Pumpkin, Apple, Pecan, Sweet Potatoe, etc. 2. To enter, contestants must check in their pies between 12:30 ? 1:00 PM on event day at the information tent on football field. No pies will be accepted after judging begins at 1:00 PM. The winner will be announced at 2 PM after costume contest. 3. Pies that require special handling (i.e. refrigeration or heating elements) are not allowed. 4. Finished pies may not contain raw/uncooked eggs (white or yolks). Eggs must reach a temperature of 160 degrees to be considered cooked. 5. Pies will be scored in the categories of Appearance, Crust, Filling, and Taste.
