Watermain Break Near Intersection of Gathright Drive and Scott Road

Repairs on the watermain break located at the intersection of Gathright Drive and Scott Road were completed overnight and normal water service levels have been restored. The Boil Water Advisory is still in effect for the following addresses:

3009 Gathright Dr
3258 Scott Rd
3240 Scott Rd
3200 Scott Rd
3160 Scott Rd
3100 Scott Rd

Bring water to a full rolling boil for at least 1 minute before using it for drinking or cooking. This advisory has been issued due to potential risk of water contamination in the area. If you experience issues with your water service, please contact the Department of Public Utilities at 804-556-5835.

February 17, 2026 – 10:25 PM Update

Goochland County has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the following addresses:

3009 Gathright Dr
3258 Scott Rd
3240 Scott Rd
3200 Scott Rd
3160 Scott Rd
3100 Scott Rd

This is a precautionary measure issued due to potential risk of water contamination in the area. Bring water to a full rolling boil for at least 1 minute before using it for drinking or cooking. Click here to read the Notice to Consumers.

February 17, 2026 – 8:45 PM Update

A watermain break has occurred near the intersection of Gathright Drive and Scott Road. The source of the watermain break has been identified and is impacting less than 10 homeowners in the area. Neighbors may experience low water pressure as Public Utilities crews work to complete repairs. No boil water advisory is needed at this time.
