Goochland - Election Day Closures

The following closures will occur in Goochland County on Tuesday, November 7th in observance of Election Day.

Goochland County Offices, Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, and Parks & Recreation Facilities - CLOSED

Goochland County Offices, Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, and Parks & Recreation Facilities will be closed on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in observance of Election Day.

The Goochland County Sports Complex located at 1800 Sandy Hook Road will be open, serving as a new voting precinct for voters who live in the 301 - Beaverdam Precinct in District 3.

Election Day Closure Exceptions:

Goochland’s Office of the General Registrar - OPEN

The Office of the General Registrar located at 1876 Sandy Hook Rd., Goochland, VA 23063 will be OPEN on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and can be reached by phone at (804) 556-5803 or email at vote@goochlandva.us.

Goochland County’s Convenience Centers – OPEN

Goochland County’s Convenience Centers will be OPEN normal hours (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, November 7th. For more information on the convenience centers please visit https://www.goochlandva.us/255/Solid-Waste-Recycling.
