Goochland County utilizes GovDeals to sell surplus items to the general public. All items listed for sale on GovDeals are sold on an "AS IS, WHERE IS" basis.

To participate in the online auction, the user must first set up an account with GovDeals. Goochland County makes no warranty, guaranty, or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale.

Payment in full is due within 5 business days of the close of the auction. The winning bidder is responsible for timely pickup of the items, within 10 business days. The pickup and payment dates may be extended with prior approval.
