[ARCHIVED] Goochland County to Hold July 4th Fireworks Celebration

Fireworks Celebration News Flash

Goochland County Parks and Recreation will once again be hosting their annual July 4^th Fireworks Celebration. Fireworks will be shot off between the Goochland High and Elementary School lots and can be seen at various places throughout the Courthouse Village. Spectators are encouraged to park at County Administration Complex, the Fairground property, Farmer’s Market, the current Goochland Elementary School (River Road West), and the Goochland Middle/High School Complex. Parking opens at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.

No Alcohol Allowed! Consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated in public or on county property.

Please be prepared for extensive traffic delays before and after the event. Local road closures will be enacted based on traffic conditions and event parking capacity. Please check and follow Goochland County Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/GoochlandParksandRec/ for up to the minute parking and weather announcements. Rain date for the event is Friday, July 5th.
