[ARCHIVED] Cardwell Road Crossline Pipe Replacement Scheduled for July 11th

Cardwell Road Closure

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Route 670 (Cardwell Road) south of Route 639 (Sheppard Town Road) on Thursday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a crossline pipe replacement project.

Homeowners will maintain access to their property throughout the operation.

Motorists should use the following detours:

Northbound Traffic: Travel north on Route 670 (Cardwell Road), turn right onto Route 250 (Broad Street Road), then right on Route 654 (Shallow Well Road), then right on Route 641 (Genito Road)

Southbound Traffic: Travel south on Route 670 (Cardwell Road), turn left onto Route 641 (Genito Road), left on Route 654 (Shallow Well Road), left on Route 250 (Broad Street Road)
