Kick off your fall season with Goochland County Department of Fire-Rescue and Emergency Services’ Fire-Rescue Show! Scheduled for Saturday, October 12^th at Goochland High School from 5PM – 9PM, this event provides an opportunity to connect with your local firefighters and EMS providers while gaining valuable insights into fire safety, EMS practices, and potential service opportunities. Bring the family and enjoy live demonstrations, door prizes, food trucks, and end the night with fireworks.

Step back in time with Rassawek’s Autumn Festival on October 18^th and 19^th. This unique event welcomes guests to the stunning Rassawek property in western Goochland County. This family friendly event features a petting zoo, antique machinery, professional rodeo, and skilled artisans. Tickets are available online at www.rassawek.com/autumn-festival/ and at the gate.

Trunk or Treat under the stars with Goochland Drive in Theater! Secure your tickets early for October 18^th or October 19^th, participate in a unique Trunk or Treat event, and enjoy a Halloween movie all on the same night. Each vehicle is encouraged to bring enough candy for 700 costumed trick or treaters. Tickets only available online at www.goochlanddriveintheater.com/

Enjoy free family fun with Goochland County's Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26^th from 11AM - 2PM! This annual event features a costume contest, live music, petting zoo, pony rides, and more! Amateur bakers can even enter the pie contest!

Are craft beverages more your thing? The Richmond West Craft Beverage Showcase is returning to Dover Hall for the second year on October 27^th! This event will feature the finest beers, wines, ciders, and spirits, and serves as a fundraiser to benefit 10 artisan led small businesses. Ticket sales will also help support a local non-profit, Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation. This is a ticketed event, with limited space, get your tickets before they are gone!

Calling all comic and anime enthusiasts! Goochland County’s KAMEFest is scheduled for Saturday, November 9^th from 10AM – 4PM at the Central High Cultural and Educational Complex. Shop for a purpose during the Holiday Market on Saturday, November 23^rd at the Goochland Sports Complex! This event will feature multiple vendors and even a visit from Santa! This event serves as a fundraiser for the Goochland Christmas Mother, attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations. Registration is required for those wanting a picture with Santa, call Goochland County Parks and Recreation at 804-556-5854 for more details.

Picture yourself in your very own holiday movie at the Goochland County Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration on Friday, December 6^th!  Food trucks, crafts, fire pits and more await you and your family at this free annual event. Following tree lighting at 6:30PM, Santa will arrive in style! Children can line up to tell Santa their Christmas wish and get their picture taken.   More information can be found at www.goochlandva.us.
