[ARCHIVED] Hockett Road Culvert Pipe Replacement Project Scheduled to Begin March 31st

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Hockett Road (Route 623) between Hamlet Road and Tuckahoe Creek Parkway for a pipe replacement project in Goochland. Work will take place from 8 a.m. on Monday, March 31 through 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1.

Homeowners will maintain access to their property throughout the operation.

Motorists should use the following detour:

Northbound Traffic: Travel west on Tuckahoe Creek Parkway (Route 740), head northwest on Hermitage Road (Route 676), head north on Manakin Road (Route 621), head east on Broad Street Road (Route 250).

Southbound Traffic: Travel west on Broad Street Road (Route 250), head south on Manakin Road (Route 621), head southeast on Hermitage Road (Route 676), head east on Tuckahoe Creek Parkway (Route 740).
