On Monday, August 25, 2025, Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Juan Pablo Segura and Goochland County’s Economic Development Office hosted a joint business roundtable at Performance Food Group’s headquarters in eastern Goochland.   In attendance were representatives from a variety of Goochland County’s major employers and largest businesses across multiple different industry sectors along with members of the Goochland County Board of Supervisors, Economic Development Authority, and County staff. 

The joint business roundtable provided attendees with an opportunity to discuss the general business climate in Virginia and Goochland so that the Secretary’s Office and Economic Development’s Office could learn more about businesses’ needs and concerns.  A robust and fruitful discussion occurred between Goochland business leaders, Secretary Segura, Economic Development staff, and Goochland’s elected officials.  Goochland County is thankful for this opportunity to hear directly from our business and community leaders.  A very special thank you to Goochland County based Performance Food Group for hosting the joint business round table and for providing a delicious breakfast spread for all attendees.
