On Tuesday, August 29th, Goochland and Fluvanna Water Rescue Teams will hold a joint training with Virginia State Police Med-Flight 1 starting at 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Goochland County Fire-Rescue’s Fife Company 4 Fire Station.
Do not be alarmed if you see VSP’s Med-Flight helicopters taking off, hovering, and landing in the area around Fife Company 4 Fire Station. The training involves Med-Flight’s program’s capabilities as related to water and technical rescue, as well as on landing zones and scene medevac missions.
