TC Energy has informed Goochland County that they will be conducting maintenance activity at their natural gas compressor station in Eastern Goochland near the intersection of Hermitage Road and Tuckahoe Creek Parkway between Friday, October 13th and Monday, October 16th.

Specifically, TC Energy anticipates blowing down a small section of pipe on Friday, October 13th, Saturday, October 14th, and Monday, October 16th between the hours of 7:15 AM and 7:45 AM; no work will occur on Sunday, October 15th.  Residents will likely hear loud noises emanating from the compressor station during this period, there is no cause for alarm. 

Additionally, TC Energy anticipates bringing the compressor station back into service and online during the day on Monday, October 16th resulting in additional loud noises throughout the day.  TC Energy is aiming to complete all work between the above time periods each day, but residents may hear loud noises outside those time periods on Friday, October 13th, Saturday, October 14th, and Monday, October 16th.
