[ARCHIVED] Document Shredding and Household Hazardous Waste Collection Scheduled for Saturday, June 7

The next Document Shredding and Household Hazardous Waste Collection event will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Goochland Fairground Property (intersection of Fairground Road and Sandy Hook Road). Must show proof of Goochland residency. For more information call (804) 657-2025 or email dleftwhich@goochlandva.us

Document Shredding
Secure document shredding is available for up to five bankers boxes (no larger than 12” x 24”) per person. Paper clips and staples are acceptable, but plastic bindings must be removed.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Acceptable items include: Fluorescent tubes and bulbs (CFLs); solvents, degreasers, and cleaners; flammable liquids; pesticides and herbicides; aerosols; art and hobby supplies; photographic chemicals; pool and spa chemicals, thermometers and other mercury containing devices.

Available while supplies last. Limited disposal quantities available.
