On February 25^th, 2025, the Goochland County Economic Development Authority approved three small business expansion incentives for local businesses investing in their growth within Goochland County. The recipients, Dover Hall Experiences, Strickland Manufacturing, and R-Tec Services, are each undertaking significant expansion projects to enhance their operations, increase production, and broaden services. 

Dover Hall Experiences is set to build a tasting room to complement its newest venture, 7 Lady Vineyards. Strickland Manufacturing will construct a new office and warehouse near its current location, accommodating the company’s sustained growth over the past decade. R-Tec Services plans to acquire land, build a new office and shop, and invest in new equipment to support its expanding service offerings. These projects will not only strengthen each business but also create new jobs and contribute to increased tax revenue for the county.

By awarding three of Goochland’s small businesses incentive funds to expand, the Goochland Economic Development Authority is investing in the future of Goochland County.”, said Sara Worley, Goochland County’s Economic Development Director.  “Goochland County Economic Development is proud to be supporting these existing businesses and their expansions. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and the positive impact they will have on Goochland’s economy.”  

Established in 2024, the Goochland County Small Business Expansion Incentive Program is designed to support small businesses looking to grow within the county. All incentives are performance-based and will be awarded only after businesses receive their Certificate of Occupancy or provide proof of equipment purchases.
