Beginning Friday, September 19, voters can cast their ballot by visiting Goochland County’s Voter Satellite Office located at the Goochland Sports Complex building at 1800 Sandy Hook Rd, Goochland, VA 23063.

The Voter Satellite Office location will be open for early voting during normal office hours, Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. continuing until Friday, October 31. There will also be special hours on Sunday, September 21 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., on Saturday, October 25, and Saturday, November 1 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, November 1 is the last day to vote early. Early voting will not be available on Monday, October 13, 2025, as the Registrar’s office and all County offices will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Dedicated parking for voters 65 or older, voters with disabilities, and early voting is in front of the Goochland Sports Complex and the Office of the General Registrar’s building.  The dedicated parking is accessible from the Sandy Hook Road (Route 522) entrance behind the County Administration Building. 

Important 2025 November General Election Reminders

While ballots for the November 4th General Election will be available Friday, September 19, voters can request them now! The form and link for voters to request an Absentee Ballot to be sent to them is available at www.goochlandva.us/vote or https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/VoterInformation. Please note, voters can only request Absentee Ballots for themselves. The last day for voters to request an Absentee Ballot be sent to them is Friday, October 24.  Applications to request an Absentee Ballot can be returned in person at the Office of the General Registrar located at 1876 Sandy Hook Rd, Goochland, VA 23063, by mail to the General Registrar at PO Box 1013, Goochland, VA 23063, by fax to 804-556-6323 or by email to vote@goochlandva.us.

Your completed ballot can be returned by mail to PO Box 1013, Goochland, VA, 23063.  Ballots can be returned during normal business hours to designated drop off locations at the office of the General Registrar and the voter satellite office located at the Goochland Sports Complex.

Drop off locations will also be available at polling places on Election Day. Please visit the District Information page at www.goochlandva.us/vote for a list of those addresses. 

The deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration for the 2025 November General Election is October 24.   The 2025 November General Election will occur on November 4, 2025, with all polling places open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
