VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from February 9 - 16, 2018.


Two projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Bowles Rd. (Rt. 677) at Shannon Hill Rd. - Bridge Inspection - February 14th

The right lane will be closed on Bowles Rd. (Rt. 677) at Shannon Hill Rd. from 9 a.m. - noon on February 14 for bridge inspection.


Manakin Rd. between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. - Utility work - February 12th - 16th

There will be alternating lanes closed on Manakin Road between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Road from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on February 12th - 16th for utility work.
