Nutri-Blend, Inc. has applied for the modification of their existing Virginia Pollution Abatement (VPA) Permit No. VPA00806 to add a total of 2,201.0 acres of agricultural and silvicultural land at 17 sites in Goochland County for the land application of Class B biosolids and water treatment plant (WTP) residuals at a controlled rate protective of water quality and human health, in accordance with the VPA Permit Regulation, 9VAC25-32.
Public Involvement
A public informational meeting will be held on March 8, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Goochland Elementary School located at 3150 River Road West, Goochland, VA, 23063.
The purpose of the public informational meeting is for DEQ to exchange information with the interested public on technical issues related to the permit application such as: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the permit, the standard content of permits, and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit modification.
