VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from April 13-20, 2018.


Three projects are planned within Goochland County, the full list including other localities is available via the link below.


Three Chopt Rd. (Rt. 622) between Broad Street Rd. and Rockville Rd. - Pavement marking - April 16
There will be alternating lanes closed on Three Chopt Rd. (Rt. 622) between Broad Street Rd. and Rockville Rd. from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on April 16 for pavement marking. 


Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Three Chopt Rd. and Ashland Rd. - Utility work - April 16 - 19

The right lane will be closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Three Chopt Rd. and Ashland Rd. from 9 p.m. - 5 a.m. April 16 - 19 for utility work.


Manakin Rd. (Rt. 621) between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. - Utility work - April 16 - 20

There will be alternating lanes closed on Manakin Rd. (Rt. 621) between Three Chopt Rd. and Hermitage Rd. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. April 16 - 20 for utility work.
