[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of September 7th - 14th

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from September 7 - 14, 2018.


Two projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.


I-64 east between mile marker 163 and Oilville (mile marker 167) - Storm drain work - September 9 - 13

There will be alternating lanes closed on I64 east between mile marker 163 and Oilville (mile marker 167) from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. September 9 - 13 for storm drain work.


Pouncey Tract Rd. (Rt. 271) between West Broad Street and the Goochland County line - Pavement marking - September 9

There will be alternating lanes closed on Pump Rd. (Rt. 271) between West Broad Street and the Goochland County line from 9 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. on September 9 for pavement marking.
