[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of October 19th - 26th, 2018

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from October 19 - 26, 2018.

Three  projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.


Rt. 288 north between the Powhatan County line and Broad St. - Pothole Patching - October 23

There will be alternating lanes closed on Rt. 288 north between the Powhatan County line and Broad St. from 8 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. on October 23 for pothole patching.


I-64 east between Ashland Rd. (mm 173) and mm 174 - Bridge Inspection - October 23

There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east between Ashland Rd. (mile marker 173) and mile marker 174 from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. on October 23 for bridge inspection.


I-64 east between Shannon Hill Rd. (mm 148) and I-295 (mm 177) - Pothole Patching - October 23

There will be alternating lanes closed on I-64 east between Shannon Hill Rd. (mile marker 148) and I-295 (mile marker 177) from 8 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. on October 23 for pothole patching.
