[ARCHIVED] VDOT Highway Alerts for the week of November 30 - December 7, 2018

VDOT Highway Alert

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from November 30 - December 7, 2018.


Three  projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County.  The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.


Route 288 north/south between Hull Street Rd. and I-64 - Pothole patching - December 3 - 6

There will be alternating lanes closed on Route 288 north/south between Hull Street Rd. and I-64 from 8:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. December 3-6 for pothole patching. 


Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Pony Farm Rd. - Paving - December 6

There will be alternating lanes closed on Broad Street Rd. (Rt. 250) between Elpis Church Rd. and Pony Farm Rd. from 6:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. on December 6 for paving.


Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between I-64 east and Bennington Rd. - Bridge Inspection - December 6

There will be alternating lanes closed on Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between I-64 east and Bennington Rd. from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on December 6 for bridge inspection.
