Alvarez is serving as the board’s chairman for the second time. He most recently held the post in 2014. He succeeds District 5 Supervisor Ken Peterson in the position.

Goochland’s Board of Supervisors regularly meets at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Additional budget related meetings and public hearings are scheduled in the months of February through April.
