The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District has released its forecast of road construction/closures that could cause delays from July 3 - 12, 2019.
Three projects are planned that will impact travel in and to Goochland County. The full list of projects including other localities is available via the link below.
I-64 east between Oilville (mm 167) and Rockville/ Manakin (mm 173) - Vegetation maintenance - July 8
The left lane will be closed on I-64 west between Oilville (mile marker 167) and Rockville/Manakin (mile marker 173) from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. July 8 for vegetation maintenance.
Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Plaza Dr. and Three Chopt Rd. - Guardrail repairs - July 5
There will be alternating lanes closed on Ashland Rd. (Rt. 623) between Plaza Dr. and Three Chopt Rd. from noon - 4 p.m. July 5 for guardrail repairs.
Nelwood Rd. (Rt. 725) between Rt. 727 and Manakin Rd. - Paving - July 10
There will be alternating lanes on closed on Nelwood Rd. (Rt. 725) between Rt. 727 and Manakin Rd. from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. July 10 for paving.
