Cartersville Road (Route 45) Closure - January 28th through 31st
Cartersville Road (Route 45) will be closed at the railroad crossings now starting on Tuesday, January 28th through Friday, January 31st to facilitate a CSX Crossing project. The James River Bridge to Cartersville will not be accessible during this time.
Drivers can use the posted detour during the closure:
- Northbound Cartersville Rd. (Rt. 45): Take Columbia Rd. (Rt.690) north to River Rd. (Rt. 6) east back to Cartersville Rd.
- Southbound Cartersville Rd. (Rt. 45): Take River Rd. (Rt. 6) west to Columbia Rd. (Rt. 690) south back to Cartersville Rd.
West View Road Closure - January 29th through 30th
West View Road will be closed at the railroad crossing on either Wednesday, January 29th or Thursday, January 30th to facilitate a CSX Crossing project. No through traffic will be allowed during the closure.
