[ARCHIVED] Goochland to close offices Monday March 16 for planning, cleaning in response to coronavirus

The closures are designed to ensure the health and safety of residents, employees and the general public. Designated personnel will report for work; operations to ensure public safety and public health will not be impacted.

The localities on Friday declared states of emergency as a precautionary measure over the global outbreak of the coronavirus. For updates and more information, go to:

Chesterfield County

Goochland County

Hanover County

Henrico County

City of Richmond

Virginia Department of Health

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Virginia Department of Emergency Management

 World Health Organization

All government offices and facilities in Goochland County will be closed Monday, March 16 for planning, cleaning and disinfecting in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

The closures include both parks and recreation centers, convenience centers, and the Goochland Branch Library of the Pamunkey Regional Library System.  Operations to ensure public safety and public health will not be impacted.

We’re joining with our regional partners in Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico and the city of Richmond to ensure the health and safety of residents, employees and the general public.
