The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has launched a new "When Can I Get Vaccinated" online tool that citizens can use to help determine your eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine. Find out which phase of the vaccination campaign you fall in.
While the vaccine supply is limited, COVID-19 vaccine will be offered in phases. People who are more likely to have severe COVID-19 illness and workers that are essential to the functioning of society will be offered the vaccine in the earlier phases. To learn about the COVID-19 priority groups (Phase 1a, Phase 1b and Phase 1c) please visit https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid-19-vaccine/.
Phase 1a: Healthcare Personnel and Residents of Long-Term Care Facilities
Phase 1b: Frontline Essential Workers, People Age 75+, People Living in Correctional Facilities, Homeless Shelters, and Migrant Labor Camps
Phase 1c: Other Essential Workers, People Age 65+, People Age 16+ with Underlying Medical Conditions
The new "When Can I Get Vaccinated" online tool can be accessed at https://vdh.jebbit.com/amkwk6m1?L=Owned+Web&JC=Vaccine.
In order to take advantage of the online tool and to be notified of your vaccine phase availability, citizens need to provide their name, phone number and email address. Once your vaccine phase is available, you will be contacted by the Virginia Department of Health to verify your vaccine eligibility. Submission of the form does NOT reserve a COVID-19 vaccine.
