[ARCHIVED] CVWMA Residential Recycling Collection Delays in Goochland

Due to driver and helper shortages and extreme heat, residential recycling collections are delayed in some areas including Goochland County.

RED FRIDAY Recycling, which includes Goochland County, will be collected on Monday, August 30. All BLUE WEEK recycling will be delayed one day through Saturday, September 4.

Route delay information is posted on Central Virginia Waste Management's website https://cvwma.com/. Residents should place their recycling bin or cart out for collection and leave the container out until it is collected or visit a drop-off recycling location.  

In Goochland, drop-off recycling is accepted at both the Central and Western Convenience Centers which are open Monday-Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
