[ARCHIVED] County Administrator Presented Proposed Budget Tuesday, February 21st

Goochland County Administrator John A. Budesky presented his proposed Fiscal Year 2018 County Budget to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, February 21st at 3:00 pm.

Other budget presentations included were the proposed School budget presented by Dr. Jeremy Raley, Superintendent, and the proposed Public Safety budgets including the Sheriff’s Office, Fire-Rescue, and Animal Protection.


The Board’s consideration of the FY18 budget continues on February 28th, March 7th, March 14th, and April 4th (if needed) all starting at 3 p.m.


Town Hall meetings, which will include discussions on the FY18 Budget, will be held on March 21st (Districts 2 & 3), March 23rd (Districts 4 & 5), and March 30th (District 1).  The public is invited to attend any or all the Town Hall meetings.


The public hearing on the budget and tax rates will be held on April 4th at 7 p.m.  Adoption of the budget and tax rates is scheduled for 3 p.m. on April 18th.  All meetings are open to the public.
