Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) announced that RED Friday curbside recycling collections will be delayed by at least a day. Goochland's Red Friday collection will occur on Saturday, Feb. 26th or Monday, Feb. 28th at the latest.

Residential curbside recyclers are asked to place their recycling containers out by 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 26th.  Residents should leave their containers out until CVWMA contractors collect them.

Daily recycling updates are available at https://cvwma.com, at the top of the page in the gray box.  Consider signing up for CVWMA email notifications at https://curbside.cvwma.com/?action=customer:main.  View the full 2022 collection schedule. Customers also may use the CVWMA web app to look up their collection day, order new carts or bins, or request information.

Residents can also take advantage of drop-off recycling locations to dispose of their recycling.  In Goochland, drop-off recycling is accepted at both the Central and Western Convenience Centers which are open Monday-Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
