Our region is currently in the process of updating its multi-regional mitigation plan. This plan must be updated every five years. Goochland County is involved in this effort, with our regional partners, to make our community and region less vulnerable to natural disasters and manmade hazards. PlanRVA, formerly known as the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission, welcomes public comments.
The DRAFT 2022 Richmond-Crater Hazard Mitigation Plan focuses on the regional and local mitigation actions that will reduce the risks posed by natural hazards. Please review the DRAFT plan and share your feedback at https://planrva.org/emergency-management-home/the-alliance/hazard-mitigation/. Public comments can be submitted here by March 31st, 2022.
