[ARCHIVED] River Road (Route 650) to Close to Through Traffic April 28 – 29 for Henrico County Utility Work

Goochland - Henrico - Henrico DPU Closure of River Road - April 28-29 2022

They expect the closure to remain in effect through 5 p.m. Friday, April 29, weather permitting. The detour below will direct traffic around the work zone via Blair, Patterson Avenue, and Gaskins. No disruption of water or sewer service is expected in either Goochland County or Henrico County.

The closure is in Henrico County. Drivers are advised to use the following posted detour route:

From Goochland County – Take Blair Rd. (Rt. 649) north to Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) east to Gaskins Rd. south back to River Rd.

From Henrico County – Take Gaskins Rd. north to Patterson Ave. (Rt. 6) west to Blair Rd. (Rt. 649) south back to River Rd.
