Please pardon our dust! Citizens may notice contractors removing and replacing the trash hoppers and compactors at Goochland County’s Western Convenience Center, located at 3455 Hadensville-Fife Road, starting on Monday, June 12th, 2023.
The County is switching companies that haul the trash from our Convenience Centers to the landfill disposal site, which is necessitating the replacement of equipment. The Western Convenience Center will remain fully open during this work and citizens should not experience any disruption in service.
The work is expected to take two to three days to complete, depending on weather conditions. Once it is complete citizens will notice new blue trash hoppers and compactors in place of the previous green ones. Similar work will be occurring at the County’s Central Convenience Center, located at 1908 Hidden Rock Lane, during the week of June 19th.
