This weekend, June 24th & 25th, Goochland County Fire-Rescue and Sheriff’s Office are hosting the NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) class. On Sunday, June 25th, you may see emergency vehicles at Goochland Elementary School where a TECC training exercise will take place, not Randolph Elementary School as originally scheduled. Do not be alarmed at the heavy emergency vehicle and public safety presence near GES, it is part of the TECC training class.
This weekend’s class is part of our ongoing collaborative training among Goochland County Public Schools, Fire-Rescue, and the Sheriff’s Office to enhance safe practice, increase awareness, and improve in management of emergencies in our community.
