The Goochland County Board of Supervisors at their August 7th, 2023 meeting adopted a resolution amending the Board of Supervisors’ 2023 meeting schedule. The Revised Schedule reflects that afternoon meetings for September, October, November, and December will only be held if needed and will start at 2:00 p.m. or later, with specific times being set and publicized at least 7 days before the meeting. In order to make better use of the time of staff and Board members, staff recommended that the Board of Supervisors revise its schedule to allow afternoon meetings to start later in the afternoon, if there is a light afternoon agenda. Previously, the Board of Supervisors established its regular meeting dates and times at its annual meeting in January and made a revision to it in March.

The mobile app allows users to register to receive push notifications, as well as email and text notifications, for upcoming meeting dates and agendas.
