Office of the County Administrator

County Attorney

The County Attorney is the general counsel for the County government. The main duty of the office is to provide legal counsel and advice in all civil matters to the Board of Supervisors, the County Administrator and various other boards, commissions, agencies, departments, and employees of Goochland County.

Economic Development

Goochland County Economic Development promotes Goochland County, Virginia to new, existing, and expanding companies.

Human Resources

Primary areas of responsibility include recruitment, benefit administration, classification and compensation, employee relations, policy development and training.

Information Technology

The Information Systems department is responsible for the procurement, installation and maintenance of the County's information technology resources. The department also manages all telephone and voice related services for all agencies at the Courthouse.
